We’re thrilled to announce that Fratelli Della Pizza officially opened its doors at The Met, Bury last week! Following a highly anticipated launch, the restaurant is now fully up and running, serving fresh, New York-style pizzas, delicious sides, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, offering a fantastic place to enjoy a meal before shows and events, Wednesday through Sunday.

The restaurant occupies the former home of the much-loved Automatic restaurant, which served the community for more than 20 years. For two of the founders, Sam James and Charles Timin the launch represents a deeply personal milestone, as they both worked at Automatic as teenagers, where they first developed their passion for hospitality. Their return to the site as business owners marks a true full-circle moment.

Victoria Robinson, Chief Executive of The Met, added:
“We’re delighted to welcome Fratelli to The Met family. Their arrival reflects The Met’s commitment to supporting independent businesses and strengthening our local community. It’s especially special to see two former team members return to the building as business owners. As a music and events venue, having a vibrant, locally owned restaurant on-site means our visitors can enjoy great food before an event, a casual meal, or a family outing, all while celebrating the best of Bury’s culture.”

Sam James, co-founder of Fratelli, shared his excitement:
“Securing a permanent home in Bury is a huge milestone. Opening at The Met is a dream come true for us. We’ve been working incredibly hard on Fratelli for over a year, building the business through pop-ups and getting our name and brand out there. Having a permanent home at The Met in Bury means so much to us, and we are proud to be another independent business in our hometown.”

If you are coming to an event, arrive early, enjoy your meal, and make the most of your time at The Met.
