This year The Met is taking part in The Big Give’s Christmas Challenge!
Starting on #GivingTuesday, November 30, audiences and supporters will have seven days to donate to our campaign. Every donation made during this week will be doubled, thanks to our wonderful pledgers and champion funding from the Reed Foundation.
Last year, we raised an incredible £5425, smashing our target of £4500. This year we are aiming to raise £6000 to help the venue recover from a difficult 18 months.
As we enter a period of recovery, we have been able to welcome audiences, participants, and artists back through the doors. Donations have become vital in enabling us to continue delivering our work and have played a large role in keeping us afloat during such a challenging period. Donations enable us to continue adapting our work to the changing situation, and deliver brilliant projects designed to uplift, entertain, and inspire our audiences.
Over the seven days of the campaign, we will be sharing seven original videos which each explore a different aspect of our work, highlighting the importance of bringing culture to our community.
