It’s with a heavy heart that we announce our catering partner, Automatic, will be closing its doors permanently with immediate effect. After hearing the news on Friday evening, we’ve been working with Automatic to help them through this transition in any way we can.
Automatic has been serving the people of Bury for over 20 years with its much-loved collection of high-quality food, drinks and cocktails and has provided the perfect pre and post show spot for audiences of The Met.
Automatic was one of the few remaining independent catering outlets in the centre of Bury and its closure highlights the increasing pressure on businesses nationally, through the cost-of-living crisis, inflation, spiralling energy costs and ongoing covid recovery.
This closure is a great loss to the people of Bury and our thoughts are with their staff and families.
“It’s a great loss to lose Automatic, our catering partner, so suddenly after working so closely with them for over 20 years. Hospitality and culture have always been intrinsically linked and this is a great loss to us and the people of Bury. Our thoughts are with all of those involved and we’ll continue to work with Automatic and support them as much as possible as they go through this difficult transition.”
