Concessions
The majority of our events have concession tickets available. Registered Disabled customers are entitled to a free companion ticket. Please phone the box office or come in to talk about your booking as companion tickets are not available for purchase online.

How to get here
You can get to The Met via accessible public transport including the Metrolink. Bury tram stop, which is accessible, is located 0.2 miles away on level ground. If you are travelling by bus, then Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) can help you plan your journey via their website or over the phone at 0161 244 1000.

Access to The Met There is step free access into The Met which involves a slight incline.

Accessible toilets are located on the first floor which can be reached via the lift. Our restaurant and bar, Automatic, has a step free entrance, but is joined to the theatre via a small set of narrow steps. If you have any questions on access requirements when travelling to The Met, please contact our box office. Access to Derby Hall (main space) Derby Hall is located on the first floor and can be accessed via the lift or stairs with handrails. There are wheelchair spaces available in the front row. Due to the length of the space between the rows we advise picking an aisle seat or front row seat if you need extra leg room during performances. Access to The Box (studio space) The Box is location on the ground floor. There are wheelchair spaces available in the front row. If you have any questions about access within these spaces, please talk to our box office team who will be happy to discuss.

Parking
There is currently no parking at The Met but customers can be dropped off at the entrance. For more information on parking around Bury please visit the government website.

For hearing impaired audiences
There is a magnetic induction loop installed in Derby Hall for hearing aid users that can be used for the majority of events. For more information please contact the box office.

Assistance / Guide Dogs
We welcome guides dogs into The Met, and fresh water will always be available for them.
