We’ve installed solar panels on our roof, decreased energy usage, and more.
We’re currently working with Julie’s Bicycle on their Capital Readiness Programme in order to gain funds to further support our environmental sustainability aims.
We’re one of 10 cultural organisations selected for the Capital Investment Readiness strand of Transforming Energy, part of the Environmental Programme for Arts Council England.
As part of this programme, we’re preparing to take their efforts even further: advancing towards electrification and fully decarbonisation of our building by 2030.

Our Historic Building
The Met is housed in Derby Hall, a Grade II listed building constructed in the 1840s.
