Transatlantic folk band The Magpies are quickly becoming one of the most exciting acts on the UK roots scene.
Combining sublime harmonies with exquisite musicianship and songwriting, Bella Gaffney (banjo, vocals), Holly Brandon (fiddle, vocals), Kate Griffin (banjo, dobro, vocals), and Cathy Ife (bass guitar) effortlessly meld Anglo and American traditions.
Their music has over a million streams on Spotify and their latest album Undertow has been exceptionally well received with a place in the Official Folk Chart Top 40 and a live session on BBC Radio 2. Their much anticipated third album is set for release in 2027. The band have toured extensively, with UK festival highlights including Glastonbury, Cambridge and Shambala and internationally in USA, Canada and Europe.
