Saturday 21, Sunday 22, & Saturday 28 February 2026.
Thanks to funding from GM Arts, working alongside Bury Art Museum, The Met is delivering an artist development programme supporting artists and creatives living and/or working in Bury.
The Mini Met: A Creative Gathering forms part of this programme and brings together artists for three days of creative socials, sharings, and connection.
These events are designed for artists at any stage of their career, across all art forms, to connect with others, share practice, and feel supported within a growing local creative community.
Across the three days you can expect workshops, exhibitions, and performances featuring music, poetry, and choir, led by artists who took part in The Mini Met artist development sessions and are now sharing what they’ve learned.
Hosted in a disused shop unit in Bury’s Mill Gate Shopping Centre, the events invite passers-by to engage and take part, with a focus on creating connection and support for artists.
A huge thank you to GM Arts, Bury Art Museum, and The Mill Gate for supporting the project.
These events are free to attend. Please book a ticket so we can monitor attendance.
