After a year of hard work, long-time participant, assistant facilitator and Met Board member Eloise Lomax has achieved their Gold Arts Award.
Eloise is an emerging professional with expertise and skills across artforms including drama, film-making and visual arts with interests in anime and cosplay. Their Arts Award portfolio included documenting their journey creating their first film as part of the No Barriers project as well as showcasing their project management skills, sharing their pathway in supporting engagement work with us in at The Met and a fascinating essay on the nature of collaboration and competition in the arts.
Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification in the arts awarded by Trinity College London. Gold level is awarded at Level 3 and is therefore of equivalent standard to an A-Level, also carrying UCAS points, demonstrating the challenging standard of work required to achieve the award.
We’d all like to give a massive congratulations to Eloise for all their achievements and a thanks for all the hard work and commitment they have shown and continues to show to The Met. Long may it continue!
