Step into a world where every story is a secret waiting to be discovered.
The Secret Storytelling Club invites you to an unforgettable evening of captivating tales, spellbinding songs, and thought-provoking conversations.
This isn’t simply an event, it’s a rare experience shared between a small circle of curious souls.
✨ Immerse Yourself in Story
The Secret Storytelling Club is hosted within the Storytelling Hub – an immersive and intimate space filled with warmth and creativity. This is a place where time softens. So settle in, breathe out, and let the stories find you!
🎶 Lose yourself in music and song
Each gathering is shaped by a hand-picked collection of traditional and contemporary folk songs, performed by an ever-changing roster of musicians. Here, story and melody walk side by side.
⚡ Share the Spark
The Secret Storytelling Club isn’t just about listening; it’s about connection. After the performances, we open the floor to gentle conversation – an invitation to share reflections, trade memories, and explore the echoes of the stories.
📖 A Night for Grown-Ups with Wonder Inside
This is an alternative evening crafted for adults who haven’t lost their sense of magic—who still believe in the power of tales told well. Come ready to unwind, laugh, and imagine.
🍿 Nourish and Nibble
Throughout the evening, you’ll find a selection of light savouries to keep you company, while the theatre bar offers wine, ale, and warming drinks should you wish to sip while you listen.
So, join us for a night where imagination is honoured, stories are treasured, and the ordinary world is left gently at the door.

The Storytelling Hub @ The Met
At the League of Curiosity, we believe storytelling and creativity should never be limited by finances. That’s why our events use a community-supported sliding scale pricing system. This structure makes our events and gatherings more accessible and allows us to support one another.
When you register, please choose the tier that best reflects your current situation:
Standard — £20: You sometimes stress about covering basic needs but are generally able to meet them. You may have some expendable income, though not always consistently. Paying at this level helps us cover event costs fairly.
Subsidised — £15: You frequently stress about meeting basic needs and sometimes are unable to. You have little to no expendable income. This tier helps remove financial barriers so you can still join us.
Supporter — £25: You can comfortably cover your basic needs (housing, food, healthcare) and have expendable income for extras. Paying at this level helps sustain our programs and allows others with fewer resources to participate.
Pay It Forward: If you are able, paying at the Support level (or above, when possible) helps ensure that others in our community can attend, regardless of financial circumstance.
Ages 16+ only. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Duration 2 hours (including a 20 min interval and scheduled comfort breaks).
Please note that there is no level access to the Storytelling Hub.
