No Such Thing Records are an independent label, committed to harnessing and shining a light on creativity from the North of the UK, and championing diversity across the region, representing artists from underrepresented groups and minority backgrounds. Driven by collaboration and a passion for building bridges between the visual arts and the music industry, the label aims to give Northern artists opportunity, freedom, creative control and chance to grow community.
BITEZ
A multi-talented artist from Manchester, BITEZ fuses rap, avant-pop, and spoken word into her Afro-futuristic sound. Inspired by legends like Nina Simone, FKA Twigs and Bjork, she has performed at venues like Band on the Wall and Contact Theatre, and her music has been featured in major commissions. Her debut EP Vintage Destiny bites back at patriarchy, algorithms and the status quo, exploring human connection in the digital age.
IORA
Manchester-based alternative electropop artist IORA makes music blending vocal and instrumental harmonies with electronic elements. A Roundhouse Resident Artist alumnus, IORA has released an EP “How did we get here?” and toured the UK. Lavender Rodriguez
Manchester based, Hampshire grown Lavender Rodriguez explores afro-futuristic sounds, spinning plates of afrobeat, alternative soul/RnB and electronic dance music simultaneously. Their music celebrates the intersectionality of queerness, mixed race and life experience of what was before and what’s to come.
Ruby Tingle
Ruby Tingle is a progressive electronica artist working in Manchester creating experimental music that blends natural sounds, celestial vocals, and inventive instrumentation.
