All of us at The Met are deeply saddened to learn of the terrible and tragic news of the recent death of Kate Vokes and her son Archie.

Kate was a great supporter of our education work at The Met and had been involved helping us to shape our participatory offer for the past five years. Kate was the Chair of The Oglesby Charity Trust who have funded our work since 2018 and without that funding much of our education work would simply not have been possible. Kate will be greatly missed for her passion and energy as an advocate for the arts and a friend to our organisation.

We send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Kate and Archie at this terribly sad and difficult time.
