LAS VEGAS!

After the incredible success of the ’68 TV special (later known as The Comeback Special) Elvis couldn’t wait to get back in front of a live audience.

Plans were put in place…
The band was assembled…
Rehearsals began…
The International Hotel, Las Vegas was chosen…
He was ready…

Tommy Holland and The Rising Sun Band will take you on that rehearsal journey, bringing you some of the old 50’s classics like That’s All Right Mama with the more contemporary feel Elvis needed to suit his new audience, these alongside his newly recorded tracks from the American Sound Studio sessions, such as Kentucky Rain and Wearin That Loved on Look now fit perfectly.

In part two of the show; we arrive at The International Hotel, it’s the early Vegas years, jump suit, scarves, all those re-invented hits and the new flavour songs that reinvigorated Elvis are here for you.

Of course we have all the “crowd pleasers” including Suspicious Minds and Polk Salad Annie, etc.

An incredible night of Elvis’s music all faithfully recreated to bring an authentic feel, look and sound of the period of Elvis’ career when he was at his most dynamic.
