After the success of her tour in 2022, Nell Bryden is back on the road with an extensive set of dates promoting her latest album Arms Around The Flame.
In the lull of the pandemic Nell has been anything but quiet. She has written and recorded a whole new album in Manhattan and LA, digging deeper than ever to document the breakdown of her marriage. Themes of heartbreak, self-empowerment and resilience resonate throughout the album, already being called her strongest yet. With four more songs added to the BBC Radio 2 playlist since her release of her greatest hits album, The Collection, Nell is spoilt for choice on what to play. Expect one fabulous song after another from this New Yorker.
Support comes from alt-folk-pop artist and multi-instrumentalist Rachael Sage.
Rachael has steadily released a slew of vibrant, dynamic albums, since bursting onto NYC’s East Village scene over two decades ago. She has toured with an eclectic list of artists including Ani DiFranco, Beth Hart, Imelda May, Howard Jones, and Grammy® winners Shawn Colvin and Judy Collins – with whom she also recorded a critically-acclaimed duet of Neil Young’s “Helpless”. In addition to being a six-time Independent Music Award-winning musician and producer, Sage is also a John Lennon Contest Grand Prize winner who has released over 20 diverse albums and EPs. A former ballet dancer as well as a visual artist, poet and activist, Sage has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, SXSW, and toured globally from Japan to Berlin with her band, The Sequins. Her 2020 album Character – chronicling her own recovery from cancer – yielded the uplifting Billboard-charting single “Blue Sky Days”; her recent project Poetica, an adventurous fusion of poetry with jazz, classical and Americana musical elements in the vein of Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave, debuted in October 2021. Rachael’s new self-produced single “The Other Side” will be out worldwide this Spring, followed by a full album in July.
Please note that previously advertised support Cerys Hafana will no longer be appearing.
