Enjoy free music in The Met foyer as part of the Bury Town of Culture Open Day.

Combining the raw soul of Americana and the foot stomping tempo of Rhythm and Blues, Carl North has spent the last few years entertaining crowds at countless venues and festivals across the UK. Generating his own kind of buzz both solo and with the band – The Lonely Hearts – Carl has had the pleasure to perform with several Americana giants such as Pokey Lafarge, Matt Anderson and C.W. Stoneking. Other highlight performances include UK Blues Challenge, Glastonbury Festival, Great British Blues Festival, as well as a series of sold-out hometown shows.

Jake Hardman is a chamber pop artist from Manchester who writes songs about fictional characters with satirical and comical lyrics. His main influences are the Divine Comedy and Squeeze.
