Ana Silvera’s folk and bluegrass tinged tunes are lyrical, intimate and emotive, works of “lavish, vivid imagination” (Metro).

Drawing on stories from her own eventful life as well as folklore and myth, Ana’s songs are vignettes, poignant snapshots in time that weave poetry and melody to magical effect.

For this visit to The Met, alongside other original work, Ana will perform songs from her latest release, an alt-folk song cycle, Oracles (out now on Gearbox Records).

Over the past few years, Ana has toured and performed her songs throughout the UK and Europe, collaborated with early music ensemble Concerto Caledonia and the Estonian Girls Choir and composed and sung in a full-length original work, Cassandra, for Royal Ballet.
