“Tony Walsh stunned millions of people” (Huffington Post) with his now iconic poem This Is The Place in the aftermath of the Manchester bomb in 2017.

“The moment that went viral… the world is talking about it…” CBC Canada

“…Stirring…stunning…” TIME Magazine

Tony has since licensed his poem to raise approaching £200k for local charities.

“Now a national hero” (The Guardian), international audiences are quickly discovering what has been an open secret for well over a decade: an evening with Tony Walsh is a rip-roaring rock and roller-coaster ride from a profoundly inspiring artist at the very top of his game. Forget what you imagined a poetry night could be and expect belly-laughs, tears and everything in between from this stunning, big-hearted performer who often leaves audiences on their feet, dazzled and breathless.

Tony will perform two sets of material from his acclaimed 2013 collection SEX & LOVE & ROCK&ROLL, plus some brand new or little heard poems from his forthcoming collection, WORK | LIFE BALANCE. Who knows, he might just throw in a classic Manchester poem or two for good measure.

Tony is a proud patron of The Met and will be available for a book signing after the show.
