John Wheeler is best known as the creator and frontman of the internationally-known “Rockgrass” band Hayseed Dixie whose recordings have sold over 600,000 copies worldwide and have performed more than 1,000 live performances in 31 different countries.
This visit to The Met sees John singing songs and telling stories which span his eighteen year career with Hayseed Dixie and solo. Humorous, irreverent, sardonic and absurd – just like life on the road.
John will be playing a plugged in electric guitar and is joined by percussionist Pete Robbins – so this ain’t no soul searching shoe gazing evening. Come drink a few beers with them and rock your face off!
