We would like to invite you to join The Met on Tuesday 15th May between 11am and 2pm to get together for tea and a chat to recognise Mental Health Awareness Week.

This is part of a week-long series of activities coordinated by Bury Council, who are working with providers and voluntary sector partners like The Met to support better mental health for the residents of Bury. At least one in four of us will experience a mental health condition at some point in our lives, which can have a huge impact on all aspects of our lives. With an estimated 27,000 people in Bury experiencing a mental health condition at any given time, the week’s activities are designed to raise awareness of local services and to get people talking about mental health.

The Met will be opening the door from 11am on Tuesday 15th May to invite people to come up to the Stanley Bar for a cup of tea and a chat. There is no cost, and there will be live music to enjoy and information to take away about activities at The Met, and about mental health services in and around Bury.

We look forward to seeing you then.
