Forgotten Kingdom is Jim Causley‘s new album of original songs celebrating the history, ancient and modern, of his native Devon. On this visit to The Met he sings these passionate and heartfelt songs accompanied by renowned fiddle duo Nick Wyke and Becki Driscoll.
Prolific and hugely admired, Jim has played with Mawkin:Causley, Waterson:Carthy, Show of Hands, Eddie Reader and many others. He has five times been nominated for the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
“Jim Causley and his fellow folk musicians bring it to life with real zest, his deep baritone voice soaring as he sings”
