Mark Billingham has come to the fore with his crime fiction and, particularly, a series of crime novels featuring London-based detective Tom Thorne. The latter led to an acclaimed television series based on the Thorne novels being screened on Sky One starring David Morrissey as Tom Thorne. As a big fan of music, Mark fell naturally into ‘The Other Half’ with My Darling Clementine whose Michael Weston King and Lou Dalgleish are a modern day classic duo in the mould of George Jones and Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton and Porter Waggoner, Johnny Cash and June Carter and many more.
