2015 has been an outstanding year for The Ben Cox Band. A debut album, BBC Maida Vale session, Cheltenham & Scarborough Jazz Festivals and sold out shows at Ronnie Scott’s.

We are delighted to be bringing this young band back to The Met, with their stylish jazz and singer songwriter influenced tunes. James Taylor, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Tony Bennett all feature as major influences on the song writing team and the band will play these songs as well as their original tunes.

Cox’s mesmerising tone and captivating delivery have won him a whole host of high profile fans, including a glowing endorsement from jazz superstar Jamie Cullum,

This Waiting Game has been named in The Telegraph’s top Jazz albums of 2015. Although Jazz influenced it is the groove based funky originals that are winning new fans.

‘Irresistibly hooky catchy chorus lines’Jazzwise
