Stick in the Wheel are a raw and uncompromising London folk band. Brought up in the thriving culture of working class East London, they’ve recently been nominated for the Horizon Award for Best Emerging Act and Best Traditional Track for Bedlam at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2015. With a string of sold-out EP releases and a 7″ on Static Caravan Recordings, SITW’s authentic voice speaks plainly and with purpose, as much at home in the underground music scene as with the trad folk scene.
Please note as this event takes place on Light Night the centre of Bury will be very busy with some roads being closed to allow for the celebrations. If you are driving or using public transport we advise you leave extra time for your journey to avoid any disruption.
