Hailing from the Blue Mountains of Australia The Spooky Men’s Chorale perform a repertoire that is inspired by the pointless grandeur of everyday manliness. They perform their songs, which range from ancient Georgian table songs to tawdry anthems to ballads of pure beauty, with a warmth and grit. Appearing on stage with deadpan expressions and clad in black with an interesting array of hats their presence is certainly imposing and a little bit spooky!

Do you fancy learning how to Sing Like a Bloke? On the day of the performance the Spooky Men will be holding a workshop at 3pm where you can get in touch with your inner 22 stone tribal chieftain, learn how to sob like a man, and learn why Georgians hardly open their mouths when they sing. You’ll also learn a couple of bits of pointlessly grandiose male music from the Georgian/Spooky repertoire. The workshop costs £10 and will last for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Why not eat before the show? You can purchase 2 courses for £10 between 5 – 7pm in our restaurant Automatic with this show. Choose any two courses off a set menu, click here for a sample menu.
