The Fisherman’s Friends are singers from Port Isaac who have delighted visitors and locals there for more than fifteen years, meshing their voices in an incredibly rousing and joyful set of shanties and Cornish folk songs. Each and every member of this unique group are or have been fishermen, lifeboat men and coastguards in Port Isaac and they’ve known each other since childhood. Having learnt their powerful brand of Cornish harmony singing at the local Methodist chapel, they have skyrocketed from singing in their local pub to playing the main stage at Glastonbury.
