Renowned traditional singer, flautist and whistler Nuala Kennedy has received plaudits around the world for her fresh, singular take on traditional Irish/Scottish music, described as unique, evocative and soul satisfying.
With her band (featuring Donald Hay on drums and Michael Bryan on guitar) she creates powerful, driving and contemporary sounds and stunning live performances. The Nuala Kennedy Band were nominated for Folk Band of the Year 2013 at the MG Scottish Traditional Music Awards.
