The band Manning has been in existence since 1999, formed around singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Guy Manning.

Manning produce an eclectic mix of music which broadly falls within the progressive genre, but in reality spans many different musical forms from beautiful ballads and folk-tinged songs through to awesome all-out rock workouts and true progressive epics, no two songs sound the same.

The band experienced a surge of interest and support, with the 2007 album Songs From The Bilston House being nominated for Album of the Year by the Classic Rock Society. This was followed by a series of storming headline gigs in support of the acclaimed Number Ten album released in 2009 and the band’s first trip over the Atlantic in 2010 to appear at rock festivals in the USA.

2013 sees the release of Manning’s 14th studio album The Root, the Leaf and the Bone.

Also Eden are a rock band who take their inspiration from a wide variety of artists, including Genesis, Yes, Marillion, IQ, Radiohead, Porcupine Tree and The Flower Kings – along with other influences as diverse as Ultravox, The Police and Cream.

With a focus on strong songwriting, a constantly evolving sound and a growing reputation both in the studio and on stage, Also Eden “step close towards the brilliance of their influences without compromising originality or identity” (Classic Rock Presents Prog) and are certainly ones to watch.
