The Met has been accepted to take part in The Big Give – a national scheme where companies apply and projects are deemed worthy of support, doubling donations made online between Thursday 6 and Saturday 8 December.

In 2010 The Met used The Big Give to turn a disused building into Edwin Street Recording Studio – a fabulous facility which is currently used by the young people of Bury, training members of the community and attracting professional musicians to record here in Bury.

This year we are raising money to refurbish the second floor of the studio into a usable workshop space, giving us more room to fit in the 12, 000 workshop participants that increase every year.

The scheme takes place entirely online from 10am Thursday 6 December to 5pm Saturday 8 December, but please be aware the earlier you donate the more chance we have to get access to the limited Big Give funds.
