The Met is launching a brand new festival of the very best in English folk music.

Homegrown features established names from across the country as well as up and coming stars presented by Folk Rising for a full weekend of breathtaking traditional talent from England.

Folk Stars; Dizraeli and The Small Gods, Skinny Lister and Faustus headline the weekend, joined by exciting acts Martin Simpson, Jim Moray, Emily Portman Trio, Mawkin, Gavin Davenport and Pilgrims’ Way. Folk Rising take over The Met’s Studio Theatre presenting up-and coming acts; Harp and a Monkey, Lizzie Nunnery, Ethan Thomas and Jenny McCormick.
