Hit Me! The Life and Rhymes of Ian Dury follows the life of the singer who sang with the Blockheads, in the process showing his cheeky public persona as well as the private one in which he battled demons and his perceived flaws.
Focusing on three events, from the peak of his success, through to being on the cusp of a huge comeback, and finally to the moments just after his death. Offering an insightful, hilarious and moving look at the life of one of the music industry’s best loved characters, features all the hits including Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick and Reasons To Be Cheerful.
Recommended for ages 16+. Contains very strong language.
