As a registered charity (No. 701879), we rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us continue to nurture and encourage creativity through the opportunities we provide.

At The Met, our members are at the heart of everything we do. Seeing our community grow not only allows us to continue to present a wide range of music, theatre, comedy and workshops to the people of Bury, but motivates us to develop new ways to make the arts accessible to as many people as possible.

Why be a member?

Each week we educate and inspire people of all ages and abilities with a regular programme of workshops. From helping children with autism to gain confidence and creativity and creativity through our theatre group, to welcoming local schools and colleges into our building with unique hands-on-sessions, we believe the arts are essential for improving lives in Bury.

It is important to us that our members know how much we value their contribution, and so as a thank you for their kind support, our members receive an array of benefits tailored to their level of membership.

Which membership is for you?

We have designed three tiers of membership for you to choose from. Our Bronze level membership is perfect for our regular attendees who want to become a bit more involved with The Met and the work we do, while our Silver membership is ideal for couples who want to enjoy nights out together and discover new talent. If you’re serious about getting the most out of your membership, the Gold tier has been created to give you exclusive access behind the scenes.

We offer a range of benefits tailored to the three different membership levels:

Bronze – £5 per month (Donation £4 / Benefits £1)

• Invite to our quarterly Welcome Days
• Invite to our pantomime press night
• 10% discount at our bars

Silver – £12 per month  (Donation £10 / Benefits £2)

Gold – £25 per month  (Donation £21 / Benefits £4)

All of the above plus…

• A free behind the scenes tour of the building once a year for you and your friends
• 10% off all events at The Met
• 10% discount on venue hire for private parties and events
