It’s half-term in Bury from May 27-31, and here at The Met we have three fantastic family shows to keep you and your kids entertained.

Patrick Lynch of CBeebies visits on Tuesday 28 May with Jack and the Beanstalk. Fee Fi Fo Fum! Don’t miss Patrick’s gripping telling of this classic tale of Jack, the magic beans and the land above the clouds. Ages 3+.

On Thursday 30 May we welcome children’s TV royalty Sam and Mark to Bury with their On The Road Show. Prepare to laugh your socks off as the hilarious duo bring their popular mix of sketches, jokes and games to the stage at The Met. Ages 6+.

Finally on Saturday 1 June beloved nursery rhyme There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly comes to life performed by the People’s Theatre Company. I don’t know why she swallowed a fly; however you can find out at this colourful show featuring sing-along songs, colourful characters and lots of family fun. Ages 2+.
