Ben joined The Met in April 2021, with his number one priority being to welcome back audiences to the building in May 2021, after the closure due to Covid-19. Heading up the marketing team, Ben ensures we’re attracting new and existing audiences alike, our brand is tip-top, and our communications are clear across all channels.

Having worked in arts marketing for over 11 years, Ben has a keen interest in audience development and behaviour. Starting out at The Lowry many years ago, Ben has since worked for organisations such as The Audience Agency, Oldham Coliseum Theatre, Spektrix and Arts Council England.

In his spare time when not at the theatre, reading a fantasy novel, baking something tasty or catching up with friends – Ben runs a choir in Manchester called The Sunday Boys, and is the proud Dad to many plants.
